The Amazing "Duck" Race... 3000 ducks raced for prizes over the three days of the Cookoff in weather fit for ducks, with a 32" flat-screen TV being the grand prize for a lucky entrant! Thanks to all who participated.

THIRD ANNUAL POLAR BEAR SWIM- Enjoyed the crazy fun at the Red Cross 3rd Annual Polar Bear Swim--weather for the "polar bears" was warmer this January 1st than last year's!

Cruz Roja International Volunteers Chapala (CRIVC) meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 2 PM in the Gazebo of the Lake Chapala Society. We welcome you to join us or send your ideas to us. Please refer to our "Contact Us" page on this website.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR LCS CRUZ ROJA TABLE
June Cooper's last day managing our Lake Chapala Society Red Cross table will be Friday, May 4th. If another volunteer would desire to step up to set up the table, that would be welcome. The duties include selling items and setting up buses going into the city. The hours are basically 10am-1pm...Monday- Friday. June is moving on to other activities. She has worked hard, and been committed to our presence at the LCS for a long time.
I personally wish her well...and thank her for the wonderful job she has done.
